INDICATORS AND LABELS

ShockWatch labels and clips are devices that contain a small tube filled with red liquid held in suspension. When the device is subjected to an impact exceeding a specified G-level, the red liquid is released into the tube creating a permanent indication of the impact. ShockWatch can be used to detect damage to all types of goods during transport and handling.

Tilt indicators detect and record the degree to which goods are tilted or tipped during transit. The device is automatically activated when the adhesive backing is removed. Once attached and activated, the device cannot be deactivated or tampered with and it is immune to environmental conditions.
  • TiltWatch: the circular indicator turns red if the package it is attached to is tilted. It will not be activated by movement during normal handling conditions and aircraft take-offs.
  • Tip N Tell: Once attached to the packaging and activated by removing the pin, the indicator will show any excessive tipping or tilting by staining the white arrow with blue ink. These devices come with easy-to-spot warning labels that can be quickly checked by transport operators.
