A pilot light indicates when the temperature, which is set using a potentiometer, has been reached in the two jaws.

Lightweight and easy to use: the tongs are fitted with a pressure spring so they automatically close when released. When the button is pressed, the pilot light comes on to show that the seal is being formed. When the pilot light goes out (1-3 seconds), depending on the seal time that has been set and after waiting a few seconds for them to cool down, the tongs can be opened.
